What is it-
The Energize Denver Ordinance is a citywide ordinance adopted into law in July 2023 by the City of Denver in an effort to encourage energy efficiency in commercial buildings within the city. The ordinance requires all buildings 5,000 sf and greater to choose one or several pathways to compliance. The various options are based on your building’s square footage and can be found here There are also a few alternate compliance pathways.
